Well for some reason - their honesty struck me as funny. I also realized something: Kids can and will LIE about almost anything in a heartbeat - but other times, when they are being honest - it is truly hilarious to see how their minds work. Now these aren't the best of the doozies I've seen in my time but as I said they struck me as funny so I wanted to share...
(P.S- I believe that translating the writing is part of the fun!!)
1. "I was talking in line and the line leader caught me".

(I LOVE that this was written on the paper upside-down. Good times...)
2. "Because I was talking in the line. Then G**** moved my name to yellow. That is why."
- I like how it was the line monitor's fault.
*sorry no pic
3. (My fav) "I was scratching my head somehow I get on yellow?"
I love the question mark at the end. Can you hear him saying it as a question? B/c I can. I must have laughed for a whole minute when I read this. Even more hilarious was the look on his face when he couldn't figure out WHY I was laughing so hard. He was scared to death. Now this might not be too funny to you - but to know this kid, is to know that he was not trying to be funny or smart. He was honestly at a loss for why the line monitor moved his name when all he was doing was scratching his head.
Made. My. Day.

4. This poor kid might need some kind of self-esteem workshop. While I think he is being honest - he does this also to make me feel bad for him. "I was talking in line. I am so sorry. Love, Very Stupid ------"
This reminds me of what I learned in a class years ago - that if you ever find yourself saying negative things to yourself you need to say a positive thing to counteract the negative. Maybe I need to introduce him to this practice.

Those are too cute, it's funny what is in their heads. I did love the one about scrating his head!!!!! Can't wait to meet your kids this year! Love you
I love these. I really like the last one. Love, very stupid. I can't believe you held out on my Friday and only let me so the one about the head. I know you just wanted me to read it on here. But these are so funny. I love to watch kids think things through and always blame it on someone else. These are priceless.
