My kids were in HOG HEAVEN today. No. Hog Heaven doesn't even begin to describe the elation and pure bliss on their faces when they realized that we were the only ones out there today. We played Duck, Duck Goose. We had races (running, skipping, creeping, hopping...). We all bought imaginary ice cream from the imaginary ice cream stand two of my girls set up. We were all able to swing on the swings (me too!).
We were on top of the world.
I just don't think it gets any better than that.

You wanna know what I love about recess this year? Probably not. But I am gonna tell you anyway. I have only had duty twice this year. And that. is. awesome.
Yeah well... I had TWO HOURS of planning time today. How much time did you have???? So there. ;)
Bite me!!!! I had 25 minutes while my kids were at recess. :-( and now we don't get guidance any more, so now I have only 2 days of specials. FML
