What I'm reading...

Since I was home for a week for Mom's eye surgery, I had some time on my hands to read.  Not like I don't have too much time on my hands as it is right now but regardless...  (don't worry Mom - i'm not posting the before and after pics...yet...)

I'm such a sucker.  Although I have to admit, I did rather like it.  Left a little to be desired.  Had a few strange parts. Plus the fact that it did leave a loose end that I doubt will ever be tied up.  But all in all - it was decent.

Good but sad.  Sad because elephants are my 2nd favorite animal and there was a bit of animal abuse in it.  *pouts*.  Interesting read though.

Starting this one now.  This one is the first of a 3 book series.

Which reminds me -  This (the final book in another 3 book series):

comes out August 24th.  *sighs*  Even though I'll be back to work then - I still can't wait!!!

I really like Water for Elephants. I was so pulling for the elephant, and I always love a HEA!

I want to read the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I hear they want KStew to play the lead in that one.

I started reading Bree Tanner on line, I would much rather read the book. Is it worth the money to purchase?

I started reading the Boy Next Door, It is really good and I can relate as it is all done through email. Like the whole story is nothing but people's email to each other.

Yeah I did hear that but Idk about KStew playing the lead on that one too... Also heard Natalie Portman for the lead - I'd rather see her do it.

Bree Tanner would be worth the money if you just want it to have on your bookshelf with your twi books (like as a complete set). I'd buy it but make sure you get it from Target (cheaper...)

Ooohhhh - You know I can get into a story that has nothing but emails going back and forth. Sounds good. ;)

The verdict is still out on Bree.... I'm not sure if I liked it or not. I know we knew how it ended but I wish it ended differently.

Words of Wisdom

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some are broken, some are whole, some have weird names, and all are different colors.... but they all learn to live in the same box.
