Facebook Stalking

I'm just gonna throw this out there - Facebook is awesome. I admit I was late to jump on the bandwagon and join FB - and the only reason I did was b/c I was peer pressured into it. But really - it has to be one of the best things out there. I mean where else can you see pictures from friends/family/complete strangers that 'tag' one of your friends in a picture... not only can you see all the pictures - but you can see them almost immediately after they are taken. No longer are the days when you have to go home to see the hard copy after they've been developed or have them sent to you in an email.

I'm rambling...

Point being - having almost instant access to pictures is nice. Especially when you are not expecting what you see.

Case in point:

Jason's Halloween pics surfaced sometime yesterday. I had no idea what he was going to dress up as since I FAIL at coming up with cool/hip/currently in style Halloween costumes. So you can imagine my surprise when I happened upon this photo.

Really?!? A MONK?!? Really? I'm actually glad I saw the picture b/c otherwise I would have never believed it. Our conversation probably would have gone something like this:

Me: So what did you come up with?

Jason: A Monk.

Me: *snicker* no really

Jason: Really.

Me: Yeah ok. NO srsly though. What you didn't come up with anything?

Jason: I told you. A Monk.

Me: um... ok do you not want to tell me?

This probably would have ensued for at least 25 minutes.

My brother...the Monk. There are no words. And srsly though - what/who is that dude next to you?!?!

However; the best part of fb stalking is seeing complete strangers. I've already decided that this next costume is the best EVER. Sorry Jason - even better than the Monk getup.

Are. You. Freaking. Kidding. Me? Oh you know which one I'm talking about.

Ok - I'm not even gonna say too much about the other two guys in this pic. Tom Cruise?!? Risky Business? Really?!?

Nope. Not even going there. Risky indeed... (haha I'm lame) I guess I could give you some points for that.

I have NO idea who the next one is suppose to be. But that hat is pretty pimpin'. It would go right along with my pirate costume.

And yeah there's Jason the Monk again.

But SRSLY?!!?? ALAN?!? From The. Best. Movie. Ever. The Hangover?!? OMG. So much WIN right there!

I about died. Not only is that the Best. Costume. Ever. - but hold on now -is that the same exact shirt?!? And do you actually own a pair of white pants like that?!?!

Or is this sold as a costume somewhere? Cause if it's NOT - You are awesome my friend. AWESOME.

Srsly compare the two pics.

It is the SAME shirt. Please don't rain on my parade and tell me it was a costume - b/c it is way better in my head if you actually own those articles of clothing.

I mean Phil is waaaaaaaaay better but Alan definitely the next best thing in that movie. Seeing this picture made me want to watch the movie again and re-live some of the best lines from my 2 fav characters.

Alan:

"That's right! You better walk on. I'll hit an old man in public!"

"...I'm a steel trap. Whatever happens tonight, I won't ever ever speak a word of it. Seriously. I don't care what happens. I don't care if we kill someone."

"How's my hair? Is it cool like Phil's?"

"Oh you know what? Next week's not good for me... the Jonas Brothers are in town..."

Phil:

"Would you shut up and drive before these nerds ask me another question."

"Would you PLEASE put some pants on?!? I feel weird having to ask you twice. "

"Hey it's Phil. Leave me a message - or don't. But do me a favor; don't text me. It's gay."

Okay, you are right...that guy totally wins for best costume. He totally had the hook up, and I have to agree, it would be way cooler if he actually did own those clothes. How freakin awesome is that!!!!!!!!!!

Now, I can't really comment on Jason's costume as I don't really have the privilage of knowing him. But, if he is anything like his sister, then NO definitely not monk material. But, hey, what's the fun in Halloween if you can't be someone you never would be in real life.

Well if you must know, as the Alan in the picture, the only thing I bought for my costume was the shirt. The white pants came to me via a friend once I decided to be Alan for Halloween, which was about 5 minutes after the movie ended this summer! I appreciate your kind comments about the costume, and for a very well done blog!

Awww!! Thanks Emmett! But seriously though - stop lying - you know you pulled those pants out of your closet. LOL. Nah - Jas already gave all your secrets away. For real though- awesome call on the costume! I'm jealous that I didn't think of that for Jason- I LOVE that movie. But you pulled it off way better than he would have!

Sorry Jason it's true & you know it. And srsly - if YOUR FRIEND can comment here YOU CAN TOO. Quit calling or texting me with your comments!!! >:-/

Veronica - I suppose you're right - neither of us could really pull off the whole Monk thing huh? *sighs* whatever dude.
